General Enhancements and Corrections
Please see the list below for the most recent enhancements and corrections made to the EDI, Shipping, Handheld Solutions, and more. We have endeavored to test the changes as thoroughly as possible, but as all releases share the same code base there is always the possibility of an unforeseen complication. Best practices include local testing and user sign-off prior to going live in any production environment. If any problems arise, please notify us.

SYSPRO 6.0 Issue 10, and SYSPRO 6.1 (non-SP1) Updates

For some time now, we have announced limited support for SYSPRO 6.0 Issue 10, and SYSPRO 6.1 (non-SP1) and have recommended upgrading to SYSPRO 6.1 SP1. Now, and going forward, we will make our new releases for 6.0 Issue 10 and SYSPRO 6.1 (non-SP1) available by request, only. If SYSPRO 6.0 Issue 10 or SYSPRO 6.1 (non-SP1) is still being run in a live environment, we recommend contacting your SYSPRO dealer as soon as possible for establishing an update plan and timeline for implementation to SYSPRO 6.1 SP1 or SYSPRO 7.

| The UPS rate tables for 2015 have been posted to the Solutions for SYSPRO website. Two tables are available. One for companies who are UPS Daily rate customers and one for UPS Standard rate customers. If you need assistance determining which set of rates to use, please contact your UPS representative. In addition to the new rates, UPS has modified their dimensional weight calculation. A new release of the Shipping solution is available on the website to accommodate the change. The change only effects ground shippers of small very light packages which may have been exempt from dimensional weight before and may now be subject to it. If you are a UPS Daily rate customer : Click here to download the 2015 UPS Daily Rate and Zone Information file. If you are a UPS Standard rate customer : Click here to download the 2015 UPS Standard Rate and Zone Information file. Unzip the text file from the proper download link and place it in a directory on the SYSPRO Application server. Run the Shipping/Handheld System Setup and select the "UPS 1" tab. Verify that the PLD directory has a valid path. Click on "Import UPSInfo" and when requested enter the path and file name to the text file. The URC information and monthly fuel surcharge information should also be checked. Read the UPS shipping tutorial for procedures.
