Split Ship and Ship Via Code Capability
In the latest release there has been a significant amount of work performed to support the new split ship via and ship via code in the SYSPRO 7 sales order system.  This affects a significant number of the programs.  We have endeavored to test the changes as thoroughly as possible, but as all releases share the same code base there is always the possibility of an unforeseen complication.  If any problems arise, please notify us.
 
SYSPRO 6.0 Issue 10 Support is Nearing a Close
The ability to continue to support SYSPRO 6.0 Issue 10 is coming to a close.  Support and updates will continue as long as possible;  however, due to differences in the operation of certain SYSPRO business objects since SYSPRO 6.1 and up, the ability of the Shipping Solution to create dispatch notes will not function in SYSPRO 6.0 Issue 10.  Any company using SYSPRO 6.0 Issue 10 that requires this feature should not install the latest release.  Furthermore, in the next SYSPRO release, all capabilities to modify dispatch notes will be lost in SYSPRO 6.0 Issue 10 for the Shipping Solution-- this change is due to the SYSPRO requirement to move processing to the business objects.
 
Cadacus SYSPRO 7 Release Candidate Available Now
A release candidate release for SYSPRO 7 has been posted on our Cadacus website.  Anyone in the release candidate program is welcome to install the release for testing.  Companies converting data from earlier versions of SYSPRO should first run the database conversion (EDICNV if C-ISAM or EDIUpdate.sql if SQL).  If using a SQL company the script EDISyspro7.sql needs to be run against the database).  Finally, run EDICV7 in SYSPRO.
