General Enhancements and Corrections
Please see the list below for the most recent enhancements and corrections made to the EDI, Shipping, Handheld Solutions, and more. We have endeavored to test the changes as thoroughly as possible, but as all releases share the same code base there is always the possibility of an unforeseen complication. Best practices include local testing and user sign-off prior to going live in any production environment. If any problems arise, please notify us.
 
Handhelds - License Plating  New 

Over the past few years, we have developed Handheld license plating capabilities in the field for existing customers who are using it in production environments today.  For more details and benefits of these capabilities, see our website here.

Recent License Plating enhancements included in this latest release:
  • Enhanced tracking capabilities
  • Enhanced integration with the Shipping solution
  • Enhanced capabilities for updating license plate information

EDI Import - 810 - Invoice
  • Corrected to properly include invoice discounts (date and amount) from 810
  • Added option to do a single business object post versus normal post per invoice
  • Enhanced to match against multiple GRN lines
EDI Import - 850 - Purchase Order
  • Enhanced to ignore bins on hold during allocations
  • Corrected to properly allow cancelling the sales order created through EDI Import
EDI Import - 856 - Advanced Ship Notice
  • Added  updating of an order to status "8"  (ready to invoice) when adding comments or freight, not just line changes
EDI Import - 875 - Grocery Purchase Order
  • Enhancement for better handling of fixed price contracts
EDI Export - 810 - Invoice
  • Corrected condition causing export hang
 
EDI Export - 830 - Planning Schedule / Release
  • Enhanced to read MRP forecast table to use as an information source
EDI Export - 856 - Advanced Shipping Notice
  • Update to allocation routine for lot numbers and expiration dates
  • Enhanced to show missing order if "Show selection failures" is enabled
  • Enhanced to allow tare/pack labels to appear as a REF under the CLD segment
  • Enhanced to increase DTM segments allowed
EDI Export - 870 - Order Status Report
  • Enhanced to allow status "9" (Complete) for ISR01 default status code override
EDI Export - 940 - Warehouse Shipping Document
  • Enhanced option on Comments tab to treat line notes as order notes
  • Added "Line 6" to country location options in address cross-reference
EDI Export - EDIFACT ASN - DESADV
  • Enhanced to process serialized label number in the GIN segment
  • New option added to GIN tab for DESADV Export
EDI - A/R Payments Maintenance
  • Updated to display full field sizes for payment and invoice detail
EDI - Automation Emailing
  • Enhanced email subsystem and improved exception debug logging
EDI - Carrier Cross-Reference
  • Expanded Supplier field in the EDIXRefCarrierSCAC table to 15 characters
EDI - Custom Form Fields (CFF)
  • Updated to include certain fields from the PER segments in CFFs
  • Updated to recognize overwrite setting
  • Corrected condition causing inability to access CFF
  • Enhanced to allow mapping product qualifier to a CFF
EDI - Outgoing Address Cross-Reference
  • Enhanced to include "Location option" tab
 
Shipping - Freight
  • Enhanced to show freight charge/cost at the shipment level
Shipping - Inventory
  • Updated to prevent inventory from going negative in some cases where dispatch notes were created
Shipping - Pause
  • Enhancement for pause function
Shipping - Station
  • Enhanced to show more than one character shipping station identifier in REL comment
Shipping - Tare Weights
  • Enhanced to allow pressing ENTER button or selecting Continue button after adding tare weight
 
Shipment Import - Archive
  • Updated archiving of shipments attempting to import against a closed order
Shipment Import - Dispatch Notes
  • Updated to correctly handle status when importing XML to a cancelled dispatch note
Shipment Import - Shipping Station
  • Corrected station and customer entry fields to allow use of the full 10-character station
 
Handheld - Bin Transfers
  • Correction to handling when "From" bin is invalid
Handheld - Configurations
  • Corrected to prevent truncation of settings on some Handheld Configuration screens
Handheld - Direct Receipt
  • Corrected "{blank}" warehouse error
Handheld - Receiving
  • Updated direct and visual receiving when PO is using alternate UOM
Handheld - Warehouse
  • Updated to prevent truncating to 2-digits in the default warehouse value
 
Summarized Invoices - Dispatch Notes
  • Enhanced to summarize all dispatches into single dispatch on single shipment
