PO4 - 1 Tab
The PO4 segment is used to define the unit of measure to be used to count the tiems contained within a single carton or to count the number of items contained within an inner carton.

The following table outlines the prompts/options available when accessing this screen:

Case (PO401) Information The PO401 Element is the number of inner containers, or number of eaches if there are no inner containers, per outer container. If inner containers are being used, the PO414 Element would be used in addition to the PO401 Element.

Inner (PO402/PO414) Information The following elements relates to the method of capturing the quantity of inner packages within a single package.

Element 03 Information The following elements relates to additional methods for capturing various other units of measure within containers. Note: "Alternate" and "Other" units of measures are used the system will pick up the conversion factor for the Alternate or Other Units of Measure. For example, an item is stocked in each and sold by the case. The case contains 12 each. The conversion factor would be 12. |
