Windows workstation

After the Handheld WMS devices are initially operational, the software installed on each individual device is "self-updating".

Software tools provided are designed to simplify the setup and ongoing administration.  However, installing the Handheld WMS software on workstations for Windows allows the administrator to take advantage of a conveniently located administrative computer for ongoing administration using a USB-connected cradle and without using the WIFI network.

Exceptions to the above during testing mode:

• the Handheld WMS application on Windows will update SYSPRO data for testing purposes, if desired, while not consuming a Handheld WMS license
• for Global.ini settings, the resizing of the application window does not occur, as noted on our website for "Configuring .INI files for Storage and Tailoring"
