Install Handheld server files

Important:  this installation must be done on the SYSPRO application server

Download the Handheld WMS release for installation to the application server

• Go to our website
• From the top menu, select:    Downloads  >  Latest Release for Handheld WMS

Create a folder for the Handheld WMS Solution on the SYSPRO application server

• The name of the folder is user-defined and not case-sensitive; however, do not include a "space" in the folder name
• The folder must be located on the SYSPRO application server
• In the following example, the user-defined folder "Handhelds" is created under the SYSPRO application folder:

Copy/Paste the Handheld WMS into the folder just created

• In this example, right-click "copy" the contents of the downloaded zipped file:

• And, in this example, "Paste" the copied Handheld WMS application folders inside the folder just created, overwriting the existing files in the folder when prompted.

Note 1:  in newer versions of Windows Server, if the "Confirm Folder Replace" window does not appear, uncheck the Windows option "Hide folder merge conflicts" in the "View" Folder Options tab.  Allowing Windows to paste/merge the Handheld WMS update into the Handheld WMS folder initiates the overwriting of the changed files while preserving existing files.

Note 2:  for subsequent Handheld WMS updates from Cadacus, simply repeat the above steps and replace/overwrite the existing files in this folder, when prompted, as in the example above.
