LTN - 1 Tab


The LIN -1 (Item Identification) screen is used to define the product qualifiers be used to identify the product item being shipped and to define the structure level in the 856 document that the qualifier information is to be used in the output.



The following table outlines the prompts/options available when accessing this screen:


LTN Product Qualifiers

The LIN product Qualifiers must be set up in Cross-Reference maintenance/Product Qualifiers( PO1, IT1, LIN) or you can Add the qualifier when Browsing the qualifier. The screens are the identical.  The Qualifiers - You can select a maximum of 14 Product Qualifiers to identify the item being shipped. Enter or Browse and select the required qualifier. The Product Qualifiers must be set up in Cross-Reference maintenance/Product Qualifiers( PO1, IT1, LIN) or you can Add the qualifier when Browsing the qualifier.  The Required checkbox must be checked for each qualifier selected.

For each qualifier select the HL level permission  The qualifier can be used in all structure levels or restricted to a particular level.

  • All - Select to permit LIN output at all HL levels
  • Item Level - Select to restrict the LIN output to the Item level in the 856 document
  • Order Level - Select to restrict the LIN output to the Order Level int he 856 document
  • Tare Level - Select to restrict the LIN output to the tare level in the 856 document
  • Pack Level - Select to restrict the LIN output to the Pack level in the 856 document.



LIN Output Level(s)

Select the required LIN Output Levels for the 856 document.  Note that this selection is controlled by the permissions selected earlier.
