Dates Tab


The Dates screen is used to define the various date requirements (e.g. Ship dates, requested dates) that are sent in the 850 document as well as how the system is to handle the date requirements.




The following table outlines the prompts/options available when accessing this screen:



Store Requested Ship Date as a Comment

No

Select if the requested date is not to be stored as a comment. This is the usual setting.

Yes

Select to store the requested ship date as a comment on the sales order. The requested ship date (from DTM Segment) will be stored as a comment.

Yes, by Line

Select to save the requested date by line on the sales order. The requested ship date (from DTM Segment) will be stored with each line of the order.



Line Requisition Date

Use Actual Ship Date (before modifications)

Select to use the actual ship date before modifications as the line requisition date.

Use Ship Date (After any modifications)

Select to use the ship date after any modifications as the line requisition date.

Use Requested Ship Date

Select to use the requested ship date as the line requisition date.



Check Lead Time

Minimum Lead Time:

Enter the minimum lead time in days.

Suspend Order if Lead Time not met?

Select if order should be suspended if lead time is not met



Ship Date Handling

Use EDI Information w/X-ref Adjustment

This option utilizes the DTM Qualifier setup in the Cross-Reference Maintenance and the "Number of Days to Subtract" facility.

Use EDI Information w/Min lead time

This option will utilize the number of days entered below to add to the EDI information to calculate she ship handling date.

Use Import Date as Ship Date

Select this option to use today's import date as the ship date.

Set Ship Date X days after today

Select this option will use the number of days set below to calculate the ship date.

Number of Days or Min Lead Time:  

Depending on the option selected above, enter the number of days or minimum lead time.



Reporting of Date Information

List on Import Report

Select to include date information on Import Report


Create Sales Order Comment(s)

No

Select to not sore dates as comments on the Sales Orders

Yes, One date per comment line

Select to store dates as comments on the sales order allowing one date per comment line.

Yes, Three dates per comment line

Select to store dates as comments on the sales order allowing three dates per comment line.
