CAD Tab


The CAD form is used to specify the Transportation/Carrier details (CAD) that are to be sent in the 810 transmission.



The following table outlines the prompts/options available when accessing this screen:


CAD Location

The carrier information can optionally be placed in either the summary or detail section of the 810 transmission. Select the required option.

CAD01 Transportation Code:   Requested Code to Send:

Select "Requested" if the transportation type code is required, and enter the code, e.g. M=Motor, R = Rail.



CAD02 Equipment Initial - Not Supported

Not supported



CAD04 Standard Carrier Alpha Code (SCAC): Requested

Select to send a SCAC code if required. SCAC codes are set in the Ship Via to SCAC codes Cross Reference.



CAD05 Routing: Requested

Select to send a Routing Code. The system will send the Carrier Name/Description attached to the SCAC code sent in CAD04.



CAD06 Shipment/Order Status Code   Requested ( "CC" sent as status code if selected"

Select to send an Order Status Code.  If selected, a CC will be sent.



CAD07 Reference Identification Qualifier:  

Enter or browse to select the REF qualifier, e.g. BL = Bill of Lading number. The REF qualifier is set up in the REF Cross Reference.



CAD08 Reference Identification - Determined by CAD07 Qualifier

Reference Identification is information related to the shipment such as a Bill of Lading Number or Carrier's Reference Number (Pro/Invoice). The information that is provided is specified by the Reference Identification Qualifier selected for CAD07.
