System Update Screen

The System Update may be used to download the programs form the website and place them in the SYSPRO Base Upgrade Directory.  An automatic backup may also be performed prior to this function.



The following table outlines the prompts/options available when accessing this screen:



Update Location...

Server

Select if the latest EDI & Shipping updates are to be run on the server.

Workstation

Select if the latest EDI & Shipping updates are to be run on the workstation.



Update File:

Enter the full path to where the system is to locate the latest EDI & SHipping update executable.  This should be to the  SYSPRO60/Base/upgrade folder.



Run Backup before update

Select to run a backup prior to running the latest update.



Clear Existing Programs, Screensets, etc. (not data) before update

Select to clear all EDI Program, screen sets, etc prior to running the update for the EDI & Shipping System.  The system will automatically link to the sysproedi.com web site.

This option provides the means to download the latest update for the EDI & SHipping System.  The system will automatically link to the sysproedi.com website.
