Carriers

The purpose of the Carriers in the Cross Reference Setup is to provide the Standard carrier Alpha Codes (SCAC) for various transportation companies. The data displayed is system provided and is used by the shipping system. We do not recommend adding new records nor the editing of existing records except where indicated.

To populate the SCAC codes, select the "Import" function from the menu options. The system gives you the option to select SCAC codes for a specific transpiration company or to download all options in a single import.

To setup the Carriers, select:

EDI Menu > Setup Programs > Cross-Reference Maintenance > Carriers

SCAC Code:

This is the the Standard Carrier Alpha Code (SCAC) that uniquely identifies the carrier to which it is linked.
