ANSI X-12 Tab




The following table outlines the prompts/options available when accessing this screen:



The ANSI X-12 screen is used to optionally set up an additional Trading Partner at "document" level. Although the information displayed here is a mirror image of the information entered on the Trading Partner Setup/ANSI X-12 screen, the information can be modified without affecting the information on the Trading Partner ANSI X-12 screen.

Notes:

To retain the ANSI X-12 defaults from the Trading Partner setup, all four check boxes for the common information must remain selected.

To modify the information, uncheck the appropriate common information box to activate the related fields and enter the required information.


Use Common ISA Information from Partner Setup

Select this option if you want to use the ISA information setup in your Trading Partner setup.  IF you  chose NOT to select his option, the following fields must be filed in:

  • ISA Segment Information> Authorization Qualifier/Code
  • ISA Segment Information> Security Qual/Code
  • ISA Segment Information> Your ISA Qualifier/ID
  • ISA Segment Information> Partner's ISA Qualifier/ID
  • ISA Segment Information> Interchange Standards ID (ISA11)
  • ISA Segment Information> Interchange Version ID (ISA12)
  • Ack Requested (ISA14) Copy ISA Information from Partner Setup
  • Copy ISA Information from Partner Setup - Use the copy option to populate the screen with the ISA segment information from the Trading Partner setup.



Use Common GS Information from Partner Setup

Select this option if you want to use the GS Information setup in your Trading Partner setup  If you choose not to select this option, the following fields must be filled in:

  • GS Segment Information. Your Group (GS) ID
  • GS Segment Information> Partner's Group (GS) ID



Use Common ISA Control Number

Select this option if you want to use the control number setup in your Trading Partner seup.  IF you choose NOT to select this option, the following fields must be filled in:

  • ISA Segment Information> Next ISA Control Number



Use Common GS Control Number

Select this option if you want to use the control number setup in your Trading Partner setup.  IF you choose NOT to select this option, the following fields must be filled in:

  • GS Segment Information> Next GS control Number.
